Simple trick with candle prevents stains on bathroom grout; learn how to do

The bathroom is one of the hardest-to-shine rooms in the house.

In addition to cleaning and disinfecting, care must be taken to remove mold and stains from the floor, ceiling and walls.

This whole cleaning ends up consuming a lot of time and effort, and often we don't have all that willingness to scrub tile. So it's no wonder the home tricks that make home cleaning easier are so successful, right?

Today's trick is simple: all you need is a white candle to keep your bathroom clean and make it look longer again.

How to Avoid Grout Stains Using Only One Candle

Do you know when you have the brand new grout? Or when it went all white after a heavy cleaning between the tiles and ceramics? You certainly wouldn't want it to get all stained again, right?

To prevent this from happening, all you have to do is rub a white candle on the grout, coating it with wax. See the details in the video:

Wax is a material that does not dissolve in water and still keeps moisture away from the surface it covers. This way, moisture will not be able to penetrate the grout, preventing the appearance of mold and stains.

How to clean a grout that is already stained

The candle trick is great for preventing grout from staining, but it is not meant to clean an grout that is already dirty. In this case, it is better to do a good cleaning before passing the candle.

For ceramic or porcelain floors, you can use clear alcohol vinegar for easy cleaning. Just apply the product all over the grout, making it very wet, and wait for 20 minutes. The dirt will come off and you can easily remove it using a brush, sponge or cloth.

A good tip is not to let the vinegar dry, so it will have to scrub more dirt. If this happens, add a little more vinegar or even some water.

If you have never used vinegar before on your floor, we recommend that you test it in a more hidden area to see if the vinegar causes any stains. If your floor is made of premium quality Italian porcelain tiles, it is best not to risk using home tricks. There are cleaning products developed especially for this.
