The return of the fringes

Trends in haircuts come and go as a cycle and the fringes could not escape this natural course. They came back in 2007, didn't stop there and now come up again as a trend for hair 2011.

Fringes, like other cuts, have evolved over the years, but not everything about them has changed. Thick, blunt and long bangs (preferably over the top of the eyes) are still worn.

One of this year's most popular bangs is the messy, more? Dropped? Bangs. and bulky. This fringe complements grunge looks and more casual looks.

The 60's fringe inspired by the cuts of Françoise Hardy and Jane Birkin is also on the rise. It's a very light and romantic bangs, usually split in half.

And the straight bangs that never ceased to be fashionable give a serious and elegant look.

Matching cuts with bangs

Short? Bob ?: The shorts of the moment are the slightly longer shorts and go well with messy or straight bangs.

Short? Pixie ?: The best bang for this type of cut is the bang that is a continuation of the hair, but shorter. Some celebrities have already adopted this style, including Rihanna and Katie Holmes.

Long: Fringes match long hair, especially natural straight and slightly wavy hair. They can be both straight and messy fringes.
