Decorate the Easter table with a napkin rabbit

One of the most practical ways to customize the table for a special event is napkin folding. Using simple folding techniques, it is possible to create beautiful fabric sculptures to decorate the table set and adapt it for the occasion.

As the rabbit is one of the symbols of Easter, making a rabbit fold with napkin is a great option to add a special and personalized touch to the decoration. And if you are going to have lunch or dinner visits at your home this Easter, you can invest in this technique which is explained below and create a napkin bunny.

The technique is simple and does not require the use of glue or other substances. It only consists of folding and ironing the napkin into specific shapes to create the rabbit sculpture.

To make this fold, you will need a square fabric napkin and a satin ribbon, in the colors you prefer.

Remember that if the fabric is thinner, it will be easier to fold, due to the malleability of the material. Here's how to fold the bunny.

The necessary materials are easy to find. You will need iron, napkins and satin ribbons for the trim. It is noteworthy that the napkin needs to be square and a fabric that allows it to be molded and ironed.

Lay the napkin on a surface that allows it to fold and use the iron safely. Fold the napkin in half and then fold in half again to leave the fabric marked and facilitate the next step.

Fold the bottom quarter of the fabric from bottom to top. Then repeat the process with the folded part leading to half of the part that is still open. The next step is to pull the top tips from the top down, leaving the long, rectangle-shaped napkin all folded up as in the image below.

The next step is to fold the halves together in half as in the images and iron them to mark well.

Pull the ends from top to bottom, forming a square and ironing to firmly secure the fabric.

The next step is to fold from side to middle, forming a triangle at the top, as shown in the image.

Fold from side to middle again, forming a? Roll? with the napkin.

Put a ribbon around the? Roll? and give a bow to decorate.

Pull the tip of the rabbit out to form the rabbit's head and support the origami.
