Research reveals which smell most appeals to women

A LiveScience publication shows the results of a research on the most attractive smell to women, especially in their fertile period, when the body becomes more sensitive to these types of sensory stimuli. The answer was that it is not only the scent of perfume that pleases, but also the scent of the man himself, especially with high testosterone levels.

During this time, women tend to come closer to those with a thicker voice, more angular and massive facial features, and other male traits associated with testosterone. The test was done with men's shirts worn for two days, where they were forbidden to wear any kind of scented product, drink or smoke, eat garlic, onions, and other pungent foods. The women who volunteered for the test smelled one by one and scored from 1 to 10 for the intensity, sensuality and pleasure of smelling those scents.

Women in the fertile period preferred men's shirts with higher testosterone levels. When the fertility factor was removed, there was not so much difference in shirt choices. The studies are still a start for larger research, as these cases are complex, inaccurate and fickle as they depend on the amount of hormone production on both sides and their disposition. Gradually you discover more and more about attraction and choice of partners.
