Russian current: procedure that promises to reduce cellulite, fat and sagging

The Russian current is an aesthetic procedure aimed at improving skin and muscles, widely used in the search for the ideal body, as a complement to good nutrition and exercise.

How does the Russian current work?

The device consists of several electrodes, which should be placed in the region to be treated as a kind of elastic strap. "The electric current that is used is asymmetric and low frequency, with low voltage and small to medium intensity", says the specialist in aesthetic medicine.

Each session can last up to one hour, with electrical stimulation delivered for 15 seconds, followed by a one-minute break, with a recommended time at the end of treatment of 10 minutes of electrical stimulation per session.


Between one session and another, at least one week apart is required.

Contraindications

According to expert Julio, the Russian current is not recommended for people with congestive heart disease, pacemaker carriers, circulatory pathologies such as phlebitis, embolisms, varicose veins, thrombophlebitis, pregnant women, hyper and hypotensive decompensated.
