Karl Lagerfeld and Melissa launch shoes with Brazilian colors

That Karl Lagerfeld is a fashion icon and an example of work and creativity at the height of his 79 years, needless to say, and now he makes his first partnership with a Brazilian brand, signing 4 new models for Melissa, darling brand of footwear. The model that most stands out is the Melissa Ginga, with the colors of the Brazilian flag and Mary Jane design.

The illustrious Lagerfeld currently signs 14 annual collections and still has time to partner. The designer's only caveat was for the party celebrating the deal with the brand, moved to New York, as he became concerned about safety after reading about the Santa Maria case.

The partnership has been signed for four collections, and the first one has, besides Ginga, Melissa Glam, a thin toe shoe with three translucent spheres on top, which will be available in black, gray, white, silver and gold. The Melissa + Karl Lagerfeld model is the most sober of the collection, being closed, with a pointed and double ankle bracelet, available in black, gray, burgundy, beige and matte blue. The latest model, Melissa Incense, is the most fun in the collection, with an ice cream cone-shaped application on the back, catching the heel and heel part, in 8 different color combinations.

The official release will be March 26 in New York. Still this month, the shoes arrive in Brazil. In April is the turn of the rest of South America; and Asia, Europe and North America will only see the collection in June. Here the shoes will cost between R $ 129,90 to R $ 219,90. The partnership with Melissa will still have 3 more seasons, what did you think of these first releases in partnership with Lagerfeld?
