Raw food

Raw food has been gaining adherents worldwide. In Europe and the United States, the trend has already turned into a lifestyle for those who want to follow a healthier routine.

Also known as raw food, raw vegetarian diet, or living diet, raw food is a type of strict vegetarian diet. That is, the raw food eat nothing of animal origin, the diet is based on raw foods. In general, foods are consumed as nature offers them, without mixtures, chemical fertilizers and without spices. Foods are prepared without heating to maintain essential enzymes and nutrients.

Sprouted grains are the basis of raw meals because they are believed to have a higher nutritional concentration than any other food, but dietary followers also include fruits, vegetables, seaweed and dehydrated foods on the menu.

Benefits of living nutrition include strengthening the immune system, decreasing allergic attacks, more energy and mood throughout the day, and restful sleep at rest. In addition, the raw diet leaves skin and hair more beautiful.

Despite the health advantages, to adhere to raw food you have to have discipline to eat well and be very careful not to suffer from the lack of vitamins.

Another important note for anyone who wants to turn into raw food is to be careful about food hygiene. Leaves, vegetables and fruits should be thoroughly washed to kill bacteria. One tip is to use a homemade recipe by mixing one tablespoon of vinegar to each liter of water.
