Research shows which nail polish colors men like best

Beautiful hair and flawless makeup always make any woman more beautiful. But the nails also need to be up to date. That is why the women's wing is increasingly investing in different nail polish colors, as well as new textures and new styles. Metallic, opaque, shiny, glittery, they became a real fever.

And men, contrary to what it may seem, notice much in female hands.

To know their preference when it comes to nail polish, TNS Research International conducted a survey of 240 men in Brazil. The result, presented by Impala, showed that 55% of men prefer women with pastel-colored nails. But that same percentage also said the colors in the red variations are sexy. And 26% find dark colors attractive.

Regarding the new trends of spring / summer 2013, such as shades of blue and green, 30% of them point out as irreverent. And 38% see fluo and yellow colors as ideal for Carnival.

When it comes to toenails, 8% don't like it to be painted and 44% prefer to use only light colors, leaving reds and dark shades just for their hands.

But are women really worried about this or prefer to follow their own taste? According to the same survey, the vast majority of them, 82%, said that men's opinions do not influence their choices.

Besides choosing a good nail polish, in your favorite color? or his favorite? You need some care that will help increase durability and keep your nails looking longer. Excessive nail polish can weaken your nails, so it is best to leave your nails without for a day, before ironing again, or for a week in a month.

"Seven days away from enamel, acetone, pliers and sandpaper help with recovery, restore shine and prevent them from breaking easily," explains dermatologist Kátia Lutfi. The cuticle should not be removed either, but only pushed with a spatula as it is a natural barrier of the nail.

Now that you know the masculine preference for nail polish colors, check out the upcoming 2013 collections and leave a comment saying what is your favorite color for that year.
