It is a mistake to think that women only seek sex out of love and commitment or pure pleasure. Two psychologists, Cindy Meston and David Buss of the University of Texas, have found that this is not just what motivates women to have sex. They do, when they are in love or physically attracted to someone, but in addition, check out the other reasons discovered in the research:
- Relieve boredom.
- Seek improvements in sexual performance.
- Feather mate.
- Cure headache.
- Improve the skin.
- Fun.
The authors say they were surprised by some of the answers and got tips for men among the interviewees. Among the characteristics that women look for most in men, the answers that appear most are: striking personality, sense of humor and self-confidence. Hygiene and good breath are essential too, as smell is paramount for women.
