6 Amazing Infidelity Statistics

What is required to maintain a relationship? Is avoiding a betrayal possible? According to statistics released by Statistic Brain in the Journal of Marital and Family Therapy in the United States, there are many more betrayals going on than you can imagine. See some data:

  1. 41% of the people who cheated said it was an emotional infidelity. Although nothing physical happened, the spouses felt betrayed in the same way.
  2. 35% of those who cheated admitted to doing so during a business trip.
  3. The definition of "just an adventure" It is not accurate. On average, these? Adventures? lasted two years.
  4. A screaming fact: 17% said they had cheated on their brother-in-law or sister-in-law.
  5. 57% of men assumed they had cheated on one or more relationships throughout their love lives. And 54% of women too!
  6. But when it comes to marriage, the percentage of men who cheat is higher than women: 22 percent of them, against 14 percent of them.
