To make our metallic diagonal francesinha, we chose two classic colors: black with gold. The black nail polish is creamy and the golden one has a touch of glitter.

In addition to enamels, twenty small pieces of masking tape are required to perform the technique.

The first step is to apply two layers of creamy black nail polish, we chose Risqué Sepia Black (average price $ 1.00). Wipe off excess glaze with acetone, toothpick and cotton. You can find all of these products at cosmetic stores, markets or pharmacies.

Once this is done you need to wait at least an hour to start the second step, because if the nails are not completely dry, the tape can stick and take the chosen nail polish to the base.

The second step is to glue the crepe tape diagonally to all nails. It is important that you glue the tapes of both hands in opposite directions so that they are harmonious. For example, if you chose to paste the row on the left side of the nails in the left hand, in the right hand glue the stickers on the right side of the nails.

Done this just apply a layer of golden nail polish on the black part of the nails. We chose Impala's Want It All (average price $ 1.00). Since this nail polish has great coverage a second coat is not required, but use two layers to get better coverage if your nail polish needs it.

You must wait fifteen to twenty minutes before removing the masking tape. This step is important because if your nails are wet you risk spoiling the decoration. Remove the nail strips after they are well dried, wipe off excess with cotton, toothpick and acetone.

To finish apply an extra gloss layer to even out the texture of the nail polish.
