Contrary to what some housewives claim, vinegar should not be used to clean the steamer. To keep it always new, simply empty the reservoir after use by washing it only with water. And always read the instruction manual before use to get to know your device better and to use it to extend its useful life.
The steamer does not replace the iron. Pieces made of jeans or thicker fabrics are often very difficult to steam out only. Other pieces, such as sheets, bath towels and pillow cases, will be a challenge because their size makes it difficult to use the device vertically. In such cases, give preference to iron.
