Velvet nails: ideal for winter

This winter the velvety nails became the sensation, so we at Le Baragosse decided to try this trend that is super high.

Also known as plush nails, they are not as difficult to make as they may seem and are quick to apply.

In addition to being simple to apply, although it seems to spend a lot of "little powder", in reality it spends almost nothing. We apply the trend of fuzzy nails on both hands and at the end of the application we return what is left in the pot and it was almost full again.

The only different material you will need to make velvet nails is the flocking powder that gives the velvety finish.

It can be found in cosmetics stores and craft stores. The only difference is that in cosmetic stores they are usually sold in smaller quantities. We bought our pots for $ 2.00 each.

How to make plush nails

1 ? Start by painting your nails normally with one or two layers of nail polish. Do not spend more than two or the result may not be very good. This layer will serve as? Background? for plush nails, so it doesn't have to be perfect. That done, clean the corners.

2 ? Then apply a layer of extra shine, but without passing too close to the cuticles. Leave a small space between the extra gloss and the cuticles to make cleaning easier and the finish better done.

3? With the layer still wet, gradually throw the? Little powder? over the nail. Let it fall to the nail until it covers the entire painted area. We recommend doing this under a surface that makes it easy to collect dust that will fall off your nail while applying it.

4? The next step is to tap the finger lightly so that the excess falls. You can also lightly blow to assist in the process. To remove finger hairs, use a dry cotton. Be careful not to touch the cotton to the plush nails, as it will stick and is difficult to remove.

Now just repeat this on all nails. The precautions we suggest are to prevent nails from bumping into objects, to avoid wetting them too much and to prevent them from rubbing against other things. This ensures that they last longer.
