Research reveals that women mature 11 years before men

A study in England of gender differences in maturity revealed a curious fact: men remain emotionally immature until 43 years old, unlike women, who reach emotional maturity as early as 32. The survey also found that eight out of every ten women believe that men "never stop being childish". Acts like burping in public, playing video games and not being interested in cooking are some of the complaints pointed out by women.

Attitudes that characterize men's lack of maturity also include remaining silent during discussions, retelling the same jokes and stories, and making fun of them, and even showing how much they want to get strong at the gym. The survey, which questioned men on the subject, found that the male team itself agrees that they are late in maturity with that of women. On the other hand, they agreed that they feel more mature about them.

Has the study confirmed that most women have had to ask their partner to act on their age more than once a month? an average of 14 times a year.

But immaturity can have a positive side. Four out of 10 respondents agreed that immaturity may be important to make the relationship "more fun and fresh." In addition, the trait can be critical to a good relationship with children.

The survey was commissioned by Nickelodeon UK to mark the launch of the new show "Wendell & Vinnie".
